Love Halloween? Broadway Is Halloween Central!

Looking forward to Halloween? Do you enjoy coming up with a bewitching costume each year and seeing if you can top your friends? Or do you just like the fun of seeing others reveling in the hocus pocus of make-believe garb?

If so, you won't want to miss the spooktacular festivities at Broadway at the Beach.

We'll be lighting up the skies with bewitching Fireworks Extravaganzas on both October 25 and October 31 at 8pm. But those magical displays are just part of our enchanting celebration!

Make a reservation soon if you want to take your littlest masqueraders to the coolest kid's Halloween party in Myrtle Beach. On October 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hard Rock Cafe is hosting the "Meet The ROXTARS Costume Parade & Party" for kids 10 and younger — and parents can also get in on the fun. The kiddie parade starts sharply at 11 a.m., and winners will be chosen for Scariest Costume, Funniest Costume, Prettiest Costume and Overall Best Costume. Each winning child will receive a prize package valued at $100. Parents who come as sharp-dressed men or rock divas can compete for an additional prize in the Best Parent/Child Rock Star Duo category. Free stuff includes ROXTAR activity books and up to 2 kid's meals free with the purchase of an adult entree. Best of all, your little rock stars will get to hang with the coolest crew around — the Hard Rock ROXTARS.

If junior needs a nap, it will have to be between 1 and 3 p.m. because you won't want to vanish before heading to the Ripley's Aquarium Boo-quarium Bash. From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., families will be dressing to impress and enjoying trick or treating, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow building, crafts, a scavenger hunt and more. Don't miss special guests "Live Birds of Prey from Cape Fear Raptor Center," or the parade and costume contest. It's all beguilingly free with regular aquarium admission.

When the sun sets that night, disguised adults will be spiriting their way to the largest costume contest in South Carolina. It's the annual Nightmare in the Square Costume Contest & Party in Celebrity Square starting at 8 p.m. There will be hauntingly live music from DJ Barry and a wicked costume contest later in the night. Cash prizes range from $500 to $2,000, and everyone in costume gets free admission to Revolutions, Crocodile Rocks, Malibu's Surf Bar, Rodeo Bar, Club Boca, Froggy Bottomz & Broadway Louie's.

Fast forward to October 30 at 8 p.m., and head to Malibu's Surf Bar Costume Contest. Admission is free if you're in costume and there will be a monstrous $1,500 in cash and prizes. Sign up in advance in person or by phone at 843-444-3500 by October 24th.

On Halloween night (October 31) from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Broadway will belong to little ghosts and goblins when we hold our annual Halloween Trick Or Treat. Our fun and safe location is the perfect environment for little mermaids, Ninja Turtles and superheroes to cruise for goodies. Participating merchants are looking forward to hosting and will have little surprises for all those in costume.

Rounding out the Halloween festivities, costumed adults can wrap up their week at Wet Willie's where the Wicked Willie's Halloween Bash will be held October 31st. There's a fangtastic costume contest from 10 p.m. to midnight with a $250 cash prize, plus 2nd place receives a $50 gift card and 3rd place a $25 gift card. Special drink prices and the "Candy Apple Willie's Brew" Halloween daiquiris are sure to keep this party going.

Come join the spell-binding, bonanza of fun. There's something for everyone at Broadway at the Beach this Halloween!
