It's the perfect place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the musicians, jugglers and stilt walkers. Looking for ways to entertain the kids? They're sure to get caught up in the fun of getting their faces painted and interacting with characters dressed like superheroes and princesses.

On Sunday night, the Army Ground Forces Concert Band performs a free concert starting at 7 p.m. in Center Court. You can expect to get in a patriotic mood when you hear these awesome musicians!

When the big day arrives on Monday, this jam-packed long weekend of fun will continue with the Croissants Cupcake Eating Competition from 2 to 4 p.m. in Heroes Harbor. Have a few laughs and watch challengers as they consume delicious cupcakes in pursuit of a record win.

The weekend moves toward its spectacular conclusion with another free concert on Monday night. This time, the U.S. Air Force steps up with its Blue Aces Band. They take the Heroes Harbor stage at 8 p.m.

And after the concert, the skies will light up with a Star-Spangled Fireworks Spectacular over Lake Broadway at 10 p.m.

Father's Day at Broadway at the Beach

Searching for something that the whole family can enjoy on Father's Day? Come to Broadway at the Beach where you'll find there are more things to do than hours in the day!

In the cool of late morning, take a leisurely stroll together around Broadway, checking out the many shops and attractions, the variety of eateries and enjoying the smells of pretzels baking, sweet fudge cooking and burgers being grilled. Choose a seat on a deck overlooking Lake Broadway and have some lunch as you watch adventurous folks ziplining across the water, while ducks float lazily below.

Walk off lunch with a stroll onto one of the long bridges that stretch across the lake, pausing to feed the fish. Head for Dragon's Lair Fantasy Golf and play a little putt-putt, then hop on the Jet Boat and skim across the water together. Or challenge dad to take on one of the extreme rides at Pavilion Park with you.

A great choice for Father's Day is the family-centric film, Finding Dory. The long-awaited sequel to the classic Finding Nemo, it's a sweet fish tale focused on the search for and meaning of family. It delivers a lot of laughs and a big emotional punch like Nemo, so pack a tissue.
