The temperature isn't the only thing FALLing in Myrtle Beach this time of year, because we're FALLing back in love with our top five fall favorites at Broadway at the Beach!

Number 5: The Season of Soup!

There's nothing quite like dipping into a bowl of savory soup as the temperatures dip into a fall like Fahrenheit along the Carolina coast! Let’s Eat! Wahlburgers Wows

Posted in Broadway at the Beach, Featured Posts, Dining

It's a little hip, a little homemade, a little Hollywood and it's the perfect place to go when you're hungry! Our recent mid-day getaway had us enjoying lunch with friends at Wahlburgers at Broadway at the Beach!

Although Wahlburgers offers a great grab and go service, we had time to sit, eat and enjoy and that is exactly what we did!

As we sipped on ice cold Teas and Cokes, our lunch date of three perused through the menu.

Although it was a little difficult to narrow down our taste buds when skimming over the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich, Mom's Sloppy Joe, Crispy Haddock Sandwich and their signature house burgers, but we finally made our minds up with the Fiesta Burger, a Cobb Salad and House Salad... and then an order of sweet potato tots (to share)!

The Fiesta Burger is a carefully crafted 1/2 lb. burger with house made southern spice, topped with jalapenos, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, house made salsa, chipotle mayo and pickles. One word, delicious! Tasty Tip: wrap the paper around it so you don't miss any of the juicy flavor!

And there is nothing skimpy about their salads, as the fresh toppings of seared chicken, roasted cherry tomatoes, bacon, crumbled blue cheese and avocado filled the cobb salad and our other lunch date opted for a house salad topped with a Turkey burger!

And then there were tots, oh those warm, delicious sweet potato tots! Trust us, you will not be able to eat just one!

As we were finishing up, our server tempted us with the sweet treats of Wahlburgers including house made frappes and even a Grilled Banana Fluffanutta (peanut butter, fresh banana, fluff and Nutella), however, we couldn't fit one more bite into our bellies!

We may just have to start with dessert on our next visit to Wahlburgers!

Let’s Eat! Lunch at Landry’s: A Mid-day, Mid-week Must-do

Posted in Broadway at the Beach, Featured Posts, Dining

Sometimes you just need to dine, wine and unwind as you enjoy the company of others or as a party of one and at Broadway at the Beach, we have just the place, Landry's Seafood House!

We recently took a tasty tour and first things first, the bread! Buttery, garlic bread that melts in your mouth is the perfect snack as you decide where your palette leads! But trust us, you don't want to fill up on the bread!

A first scamper down the menu, finds everything from New Orleans BBQ shrimp, fried alligator and ribeye steaks, just to name a few!

Since we were there for lunch, we took full advantage of the great lunchbox specials, which features a first course appetizer and second course meal!

For the appetizers, you pick from a starter course, with your choice of fried zucchini, tossed salad, battered onion rings and jalapenos. We picked the fried zucchini and it did not disappoint, yum!

Next up, the second course of the lunchbox special, where you have your choice of fried fish and shrimp, shrimp scampi, fried shrimp, chicken Romano, shrimp remoulade, crawfish etoufee or grilled shrimp. Our pick, the Chicken Romano… a parmesan crusted chicken breast with a delicious red sauce served with spaghetti and veggies! Let us say again, yum!

The generous portion was enough to take home, and that's just what we did because we wanted to save room for dessert and we are so glad we did! After a flavorful appetizer and delicious meal, we were looking for something sweet to tempt our taste buds and we found just the thing, Key Lime Pie! Oh my goodness!

From start to finish, our fine dining lunch was delicious and was made even better by the ambiance of soft music, white linen tables and tea light candles that created an atmosphere of relaxation and sophistication! It was the perfect lunch time getaway during a busy week!

Less Is More Means More At Broadway

Posted in Broadway at the Beach, Featured Posts

The school bells of the 2017-2018 school year have rung, the Friday night lights are turning on at football fields and the tourist traffic exodus has started. For some that call Myrtle Beach home, it's the time of year when the ocean sands are a little less populated, traffic is a little less congested and we're enjoying a little less humidity. We've all heard the saying, "less is more" and at Broadway at the Beach, we've got some ways to enjoy more during the less!

Since the kids are busy roaming the halls with their friends, now is the time to grab your friends and roam around Broadway for some R&R and we're not talking about rest and relaxation, but retail and restaurant therapy! From jewelry, shoes and clothing, Broadway has you covered from head to toe! Thinking of adding some bling? The Mole Hole, Bijuju and A Silver Shack will have you donning beautiful accessories that will add a touch of sparkle to any style. For footwear, step into Gemini Boutique and Rack Room Shoes and try on a variety of comfortable and popular brands. When the temperatures start to fall, you will want to bundle up with the comforts of a new hoodie from Victoria's Secret or represent your favorite team's apparel from Sports Fanatics!

Now that kid's lunches are packed, you can enjoy a less stressed mid-day meal with your favorite lunch partners or enjoy a midafternoon snack all to yourself! Whether you're in the mood for seafood from Joe's Crab Shack or Landry's Seafood House, want something a little more extreme from Extreme Pizza, a delicious hamburger from Wahlburgers, Johnny Rockets or Hard Rock Café or you're in the mood for a great steak and brew from Liberty Brewery and Grill, the possibilities are endless at Broadway! And don't forget that sweet snack of ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery, Kilwins and Ben & Jerry's are always cool favorites!

So, when you're enjoying a little less heat and a little less traffic along the Grand Strand, we hope you're enjoying a little more shopping and little more dining at Broadway at the Beach!
