We’re Ready To Light Up The Sky Again at Broadway at the Beach

The ooohhhs, the aaahhhs… the bright sparkles… the music and the memories… you've asked, we can now answer… ladies and gentlemen, fireworks are returning this summer to Broadway at the Beach!

High flying fireworks create a perfect ending to a day spent at Broadway. After dinner, while sipping on a pineapple drink, enjoying a cone of your favorite ice cream or while snacking on freshly popped kettle corn, take in the sights and sounds as we light up the sky above Lake Broadway. You can see the fireworks from anywhere within the interior of Broadway, but if you time it right, there are a few prime viewing areas perfect for capturing the moment with photos or video.

Here's a few of our picks: Check them out while riding the Broadway 360 in Pavilion Park next to WonderWorks. You can also have an elevated view while dining outside on the second level of Hard Rock Café or get a window seat while eating dinner at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen! But remember, timing is key!

Hitting the skies at 10pm every Tuesday beginning June 8th and then on Fridays beginning June 18th, fireworks take family vacations, date nights or those much needed girl or guy nights out to a higher level of entertainment. Plus, you don't want to miss our special patriotic show on the 4th of July! But it's not just June, July and August when colors dance across the sky, check out the complete schedule here. Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend and New Year's, we got you covered! (Weather permitted, of course!)

So after a year hiatus, we are looking forward to lighting up the skies above Broadway at the Beach once again! For our guests, whether it's the little one looking up in wonderment after climbing on top of dad's shoulders, stealing a sweet romantic kiss with your beloved, or you're taking a selfie with your crew on The Avenue, you can make magical memories with the return of fireworks this year at Broadway at the Beach!

Toys To squeeze Or Cars That Speed: Create Memories & More at Broadway

As parents, there's one thing we can count on when we give a child a new toy.

One, they love and adore it. Or, two, they dislike and ignore it.

So how do you avoid the game of hit or miss with your little one? At Broadway at the Beach, we have two experiential shops where your little one can not only choose their new toy, but also create it and personalize it: Build-A-Bear Workshop and RIDEMAKERZ.

At Build-A-Bear Workshop, whether it's a soft bear or lovable lama or other furry friends, there are plenty of options to build their new cuddly companion! But it's not just about selecting the new plush playmate, it's also about interacting with each step of the Build-A-Bear process while choosing which accessories go best with their new best friend. Let your tiny tots pick the outfit from colorful clothes to swanky shoes and adding their own unique touch!

Another option at Broadway where your mini-me can create a toy all their very own is RIDEMAKERZ! The toy car customizing experience where kids 4 to 104 can build their perfect "ridez". From sports cars and monster trucks to their favorite superhero themed vehicle, they can select a fast lane favorite and build their new supped' up speeder!

So instead of playing the toy version of hit or miss with the kiddos, next time make it Broadway at the Beach and let them pick and trick out their own personal creations!

Treat yourself with fashion and stylish finds from some of your favorite shops including Bijuju and Gemini Boutique! After a day of shopping, you and the girls can enjoy an evening of fresh sushi, hand crafted burgers and eclectic dishes at The Grumpy Monk. For the gentlemen, your weekend can tee off early in the day or after dark at TopGolf. Make it a relaxing evening with the guys or as competitive as you like every time you take a swing. The evening doesn't have to end there. After golf, make your way to The Avenue and Dave & Buster's where you can grab some grub, watch the games on the big screens and continue your winning or losing streaks with the boys!

However you're celebrating Valentine's weekend, with your loved one or with your friends, you can always find something to love at Broadway at the Beach!

The Best Things In Life Are Sweet & They Are At Broadway at the Beach

Posted in Broadway at the Beach, Featured Posts, Dining

The first taste of a sweet cheese danish from our favorite coffee shop in the morning, the sweet aroma of freshly made fudge at The Fudgery in the afternoon, the sweet sip of mangos, pineapples and your favorite tropical creations at Wet Willie's to end the evening… sound like a sweetly perfect day? We think so too! Your next sweet journey can begin and end at Broadway at the Beach and we're pretty sure this blog can be your guide.

If you're like us, our day hasn't officially started until we've had our coffee, and you can kick start any chilly morning with a warm cup of coffee or sweet cappuccino at the Social Coffee Shop. And, while drinking in the warmth, be sure to grab a sweet baked treat to enjoy along the way.

When you're ready for a cool down, nothing says cool like a stop by the ice cream shop! Ben & Jerry's has not one, but two locations at Broadway creating a double scoop of deliciousness with their natural ice cream and creamy concoctions. Whether you grab a cone or cup, you will be sweetly satisfied with your Ben & Jerry's pick!

Stroll past WonderWorks and over the bridge to your next stop, Kilwins, featuring the finest down home confections, and oh did we mention they have ice cream too (our personal favorite is the Chestnut Praline). Kilwins also offers seasonal favorites including hand-crafted truffles for your Valentine, caramel covered apples and holiday gift baskets for your favorite coworkers. This one stop sweet shop has it all!

After a few sweet treats, you may want a savory break? A trip down The Avenue to grab a burger or other flavorful entrée at Dave & Buster's, Hard Rock Café or Wahlburgers will do the trick!

As the sweet hunt continues, chocolate is at the top of the list and you simply can't go wrong at The Fudgery! With two locations, you can watch as they create hand turned seasonal favorites and classics right in front of you.

Any Simpsons fans out there? Time to head off to Springfield, Illinois, the land of The Simpsons a la, The Kwik-E-Mart. Across the Ripley's bridge and down a ways sits the cartoon icon next to the Aztec Theater, where you can grab a famous Lard Lad Donut and wash it down with a sweet flavor of your choice Squishee! Can't decide which flavor to get? That' ok, we recommend them all!

The final stop on our sweet journey and what better place to end than a place actually called Wee R Sweetz! Here, you can peruse through homemade salt water taffy as well as their chocolates, truffles, chocolate and caramel covered apples and more! This award winning shop is a perfect place to select a sweet for yourself or impress your sweetheart with a gift of goodies!

As you can tell, there is a plethora of delicious sweets to choose at Broadway and we haven't even touched on the delectable desserts at the restaurants, Four words… Ooey. Gooey. Butter. Cake.

Another time, another sweet blog!
