Savoring an enjoyable glass of wine can be one of the high points of any day. But selecting a new wine to try or serve to guests can be challenging. A guided wine tasting can introduce you to new favorites in categories you enjoy or surprise you as you discover a new taste that delights you.

At Coastal Carolina Winery, you can enjoy a wine tasting of seven different wines. Wines are also served by the glass and the bottle. Wine slushies are offered as special treats.

A trip to this winery doesn't have to be adults only. The kids can enjoy a non-alcoholic blueberry slushy and join you as you learn how wine is made. The whole family can explore the wine tanks, bottle machine and see how the bottles are corked.

At Coastal Carolina Winery, there are also unique wine-related souvenirs, tee shirts, and handmade Carolinas pottery that will dazzle you with its artistry. Foodies will enjoy sampling items from the winery's own selection of chutney, salad dressings, sauces and dips.

Over at Boardwalk Winery, charming wine labels highlight special types of wines that will evoke memories of warm days and cool evenings at the beach. This small, gourmet winery specializes in wines that (as the winery staff likes to say) are a "vacation in a bottle."

Wines here range from dry to sweet. Traditional white and red wines are offered, but you won't want to miss the chance to taste the unique flavors of their fruit wines like blackberry and mango-peach blends.

Their wine tasting room provides opportunities to sample special wines with irresistible names like "Endless Summer," "Ocean Breeze," "Cruzin," and "Summer Nights."

Americans love their burgers. The ultimate comfort food, a really good burger can be one of the greatest culinary experiences known to man, woman or child.

It's hard to believe that the burger has only been around since 1900. That's when genius restauranteurs started putting the so-called "hamburger steak" on a bun and adding condiments.

At Broadway at the Beach, hamburgers and cheeseburgers are among our visitors' favorite foods. Our restaurants have been serving up great burgers since they opened their doors in the mid-1990s.

Broadway is home to Johnny Rockets and its specialty, "The Original Hamburger." This one-third pound burger is the star that launched the restaurant in 1986. Rockets' cheeseburger version has been rated a 12 by diners using a scale of 1 to 10!

Burgers served by Hard Rock Cafe are sure to shake, rattle and roll you into hamburger heaven. Seven different varieties start out with a half-pound of Angus beef and build from there. Hard Rock serves up a great burger experience from the "Classic Burger" with traditional "fixins" to the exotic "Tango Burger" layered with slow-cooked Sloppy Joe, American or jack cheeses, barbecue sauce, and finished with blue cheese and horseradish mayonnaise.

Good Time Charley's offers 16 different types of burgers. From traditional American cheeseburgers to the "All In" burger with jalapenos, bacon and more, to "The Hangover" burger with its over easy egg on top, there's something for every burger lover.

At Liberty Brewery & Grill you can grab a specialty beer and build your own burger. Starting with a certified Angus beef burger, the add-on possibilities include an assortment of cheeses, applewood smoked bacon, bacon & onion marmalade, crispy onion straws, fried bread & butter pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, balsamic onions, and Southern slaw. Yum!

Wet Willie's starts off with its "Original American Classic" burger, but from there it's a wild ride into the world of gourmet burgers. Cheeseburger sliders and kosher dill pickles are served on a stick, the "Burn Baby Burn " is blackened and topped with Louisiana hot sauce, pickled jalapenos and Pepper jack cheese; and the "Hawaiian Lei Burger " is teriyaki glazed and topped with grilled pineapple and bacon. If you like mushrooms and Swiss cheese, the "Swiss Guard " has them. But the most unique burger is a "Better With Butter" which is smothered in a mound of grilled-in-butter sweet onions and topped with American Cheese.

Dining out with kids doesn't have to be a challenge. Just like adults, kids want to eat at places where they feel welcome and comfortable. From time to time, they enjoy servers who give them a little special attention and make them feel as important as the adults. Seeing their favorite foods on a menu and having several options makes them feel free and relaxed. If there's some kid-centric entertainment or a place to blow off some steam, that's icing on the cake for both the kids and mom and dad.

Have you ever met a child who didn't like spaghetti? There's lots of that and more Italian favorites at Capriz Italian Feast. Parents can enjoy a relaxing meal while teenagers stuff themselves at a buffet that has everything from a soup and salad bar to pizza and several different Italian entrees. The littlest kids get to eat whatever they want — and the food is free for those six and under.

Both the food and energy of Johnny Rockets make it an ideal place to take the kids. Your family will want to return again and again to this cozy restaurant with the diner motif, singing and dancing waitstaff, and great burgers, fries, and shakes.

Over at Joe's Crab Shack you'll find a kid's menu with seafaring twists. They'll love dishes and drinks with names like Rockin' Popcorn Shrimp, Captain's Catch, and Beach Buddie beverages like the Shark Nibble. When the weather's nice, the kids can even work off some energy at the on-site playground.

There are plenty of restaurants around Myrtle Beach where you can get a good meal. But only a handful of them deliver the kind of atmosphere that transforms a meal into an experience. Happily, several of those are clustered in one location — Broadway at the Beach.

Experience a cooking show like no other at Yamato Steak House, the 'Original Japanese Steakhouse'. At Senor Frog's the food is served with a special kind of energy that the Senor calls Froglosophy. This is the place where the party's not over until you say it is. Manners don't matter, and you're encouraged to party like a fiesta animal. Rest assured, it's all for a good cause — saving the world from boredom! You'll find yourself cutting loose at this Mexican-themed restaurant and having some wild and crazy fun.

Hard Rock Cafe is the place you'll start to feel the music in you as you check out the awesome musical artifacts. This 70-foot tall building emits more energy than Steven Tyler on stage. The only pyramid-shaped restaurant in the entire Hard Rock Cafe International's collection of cafes worldwide, it even has a resident mummy's sarcophagus amid the Egyptian-themed décor. If you want to rock and roll into the night, this is the place.

Johnny Rockets will take you a step back in time to recapture the excitement and energy of America's drive-ins and diners. The atmosphere is 1950′s with jukeboxes playing and milkshake machines humming. Uniformed servers sing and dance whenever the music moves them. Don't expect any quiet time here. When the staff breaks out in a performance of a rock classic, the entire restaurant gets to sing along!

Ready to lay back and chill? Long for the easy, casual feeling of Caribbean island life? Margaritaville delivers as it channels the spirit of its owner, Jimmy Buffet. This is where the cool people come to chill — but they also know how to party. Listen for that special song, then order your own cheeseburger in this little piece of Myrtle Beach paradise.

Most folks are intrigued by the sites, the sounds and the size of Broadway. We're asked about our fireworks, traveling performers and even the fish in our lake. 1. Broadway at the Beach's 14 million visitors a year literally come from all over America and beyond. The top 5 states that send us visitors are North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

2. Our 75 in-line shops and 30 kiosks offer everything from trendy sandals and delicious fudge, to beautiful jewelry and apparel. We even have a magic shop called Broadway Magic.

3. Sixteen nightclubs provide a wide variety of entertainment from comedians performing at the Carolina Comedy Club to live bands playing all kinds of music at several clubs in Celebrity Square and nearby restaurants.

4. Twenty-six attractions fill up your senses at Broadway. Tribute artists give high energy performances at Legends In Concert and an awesome magic show is currently playing at The Palace. Ripley's Aquarium lets you walk through a tunnel with sharks swimming overhead. You can even get your photo taken with a life-like wax model of your favorite star at our new Hollywood Wax Museum.

5. There are more than 20 amusement rides in 3 different parks around Broadway. From kiddie rides to thrill rides, we've got it. It's also an adventure to soar over Lake Broadway on a zipline or have some fun just riding on the lake in a jet boat, paddle boat or water rollerz.

6. Events are a regular part of the Broadway experience. Broadway at the Beach hosts an average of 25 events and/or festivals annually including several 5K's, car shows and charitable walks. And our Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration is one of the most popular events in the area as we illuminate our 52 foot tall tree with 141,000 lights as performers bring in the holiday season.

7. Just how big is Lake Broadway? Our 23-acre lake is 100 feet across and 1 mile in length. Depths range from 3 to 15 feet.

8. How many fish are in our lake? We've stopped counting! We originally stocked the lake with about 29,000 fish including Bream, Catfish, Hybrid Bass, Japanese Carp and Israeli Carp when we opened in 1995. A quick look around and you'll see that we have a pretty healthy (and growing) aquatic population that now also includes wildlife such as seagulls, turtles, ducks and more.

9. Our fish consume approximately 34,000 ponds of fish food every year, thanks to our many visitors who stop on the bridges at our feeders and toss in the food that draws the fish up to the surface for chow.

10. Our most popular regular events are our fireworks shows held Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 p.m. during the summer as well as several seasonal shows throughout the remainder of the year. Weather permitting, we'll present 30 free fireworks shows this year. And by seasons end, we will have exploded nearly 100,000 shots over Broadway.
