Broadway At The Beach Set To Celebrate The 13th Annual KidzTime Festival Featuring Marvel Comics’ Captain America
Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, S.C., will host the 13th Annual KidzTime Festival on Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public.
The festival will take place in Broadway Commons, located next to the official Broadway at the Beach Guest Services Center, on the 21st Avenue North side of the property. Close to 40 vendors will be participating and they will be located inside and outside of a large, heated, circus-style tent. Vendors will be offering a variety of kid-friendly games, interactive activities, performances, mascot appearances and giveaways, including (but not limited to) face painting, spin art, corn hole, fire engine rides, spin-to-win wheel, trackless train rides, sparkly nail painting and more. In addition, live performances, contests and demonstrations will be featured throughout the day on a stage set up inside the tent. Performances include entertainment from Chief Kamu's Fire And Hula Show, the Johnny Rocket's dancers, Joe's Crab Shack and Christian Tae Kwon Do. Attendees of the festival will also be treated to a special visit from Marvel Comics' Captain America, appearing live from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., courtesy of Time Warner Cable Media.
For the second year, the festival will also feature a KidzTime Festival Spokeskid who has been selected through a contest on WBTW-TV. The KidzTime Festival Spokeskid will be announced at the festival and open it, as well as co-emcee and conduct interviews with festival attendees throughout the day.
