DATE: September 21, 2017

South Carolina's number one tourist attraction, Broadway at the Beach, will play host to a variety of events this fall. They are as follows:

Saturday, October 7

7th Annual Grand Strand Mustang Stampede

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Parking Lots 19 & 20 – near the movie theater)

Registration is open to all Mustang and Ford powered vehicles. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Best in Show New and Best in Show Old will be awarded, along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class.

Thursday, October 12 through Saturday, October 14

Cruisin' the Beach Car Show

8 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily (Parking Lots 19 & 20 – near the movie theater)

At this open car show, there will be vendors, raffles, prizes and more.

Saturday, October 14

The Sun News' Truck or Treat Event

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Parking Lot 1 – next to Landry's, behind Backstage Mirror Maze and Backstage Escape Games)

This is a FREE community event. From emergency vehicles to trash trucks, big rigs and more, kids are encouraged to explore all the vehicles on display and trick-or-treat with all the vendors. Food, bouncy houses, carousel rides, a petting zoo, and train rides will also be available.

Horn Free Hour — 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Kids can enjoy all the fun of Truck-or-Treat without all the loud music, horns and sirens.

Costume Contest — noon

Out of the Darkness Community Walk

10 a.m. (Heroes Harbor near Margaritaville)

This event is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's signature event, bringing together family, friends and neighbors walking to fight suicide.

Saturday, October 28

Halloween Bash on The Avenue

7 p.m. (The Avenue)

Come out to the Grand Strand's largest Halloween bash, featuring an adult costume contest with 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes awarded.

Tuesday, October 31

Trick or Treat

4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Throughout the complex)

All the little ghosts and goblins are invited to trick or treat throughout Broadway at the Beach.

Fireworks Extravaganza

8 p.m. (Over Lake Broadway)
