Broadway at the Beach’s 16th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
November 20, 2010
Join us as we kick off the Holiday Season with the annual Broadway at the Beach Tree Lighting. This is an event you do not want to miss! The entertainment starts at 6:00pm and we ends with a fireworks spectacular over lake Broadway at 8:00pm. Get there early for the best view of the stage. The Broadway Musical Tree of Lights is located adjacent to IMAX 3D Theatre and MagiQuest on the Robert Grissom Parkway side of the center.
Broadway’s Musical Tree of Lights is 52 feet in height and features 141,120 lights. Nightly shows take place on the hour from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. through December 31. The tree’s lights are synchronized to five traditional holiday songs including “All I Want for Christmas”, “Most Wonderful Time of Year”, “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Little Saint Nick”. As the final song, “Let it Snow” plays, snow begins falling around the tree. Each show, which lasts approximately 12 minutes, is free and open to the public.
