Broadway at The Beach's Summer Nights Free Entertainment Series Returns June 5

Summer Fun to Include Mr. Nigel's Dance Party, Costumed Stilt Walkers, Fire Dancers, Character Appearances, Fireworks Shows & More

Myrtle Beach, S.C. (June 1, 2023) — Myrtle Beach's epicenter of fun, Broadway at the Beach, will host Summer Nights starting June 5 through Aug. 27. This free, nightly entertainment series features strolling entertainers, character appearances and other live performances at various locations within Broadway at the Beach.

A guest favorite, Mr. Nigel returns for his 10th year of singing, dancing and spreading good vibes. His happy and energetic Dance Party will take place Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Center Court, which is located between It'Sugar, The Mole Hole, Build A Bear and Quiet Storm Surf Shop.

Also in Center Court, kids of all ages can enjoy character appearances as well as free face painting courtesy of The Character Company on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Each evening, costumed stilt walkers from Over the Moon Productions will stroll and entertain guests from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

On the stage in Heroes Harbor, next to Margaritaville, the talented cast of entertainers from Over the Moon Productions will perform a variety show featuring fire dancers, LED performers, jugglers and more every Monday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. and again at 9 p.m.

Spontaneous pop-up performances, balloon artists and other fun can also be found throughout the summer at various times in Center Court.

Broadway at the Beach's weekly fireworks extravaganzas are also set to return at 10 p.m. every Tuesday starting June 6 through Aug. 29 and at 10 p.m. every Friday starting June 23 through Aug. 11.

There will be a fireworks extravaganza at 10 p.m. to celebrate Independence Day on July 4 and then, to round out the summer season for Labor Day, there will be a Sunday fireworks show on Sept. 3 at 10 p.m.

In addition to the fun and excitement of the Summer Nights events, several Broadway at the Beach venues will feature live music on select nights.
