Hooray For Hollywood! The Wax Museum Entertainment Center Is Now Open

Posted in Attractions

Driving down Highway 17 Bypass to Broadway at the Beach, you can't miss the massive cityscape building with the Great Ape climbing on it. It's our newest attraction, the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center.

The two-level building opened on June 14 with three attractions inside.

Step into the main level and you're in the midst of more than 100 handmade replicas of famous actors, athletes and musicians. This 30,000 square foot gallery is one of only four Hollywood Wax Museums in the country (and the only one in the Carolinas) that is devoted entirely to celebrity figures. You'll have more than 100 opportunities to get your photo taken with your favorite celebrities!

But the fun doesn't stop on the first floor. There are two more attractions on the building's lower level.

When you enter Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, you become part of a modern-day fairy tale. As you travel through hidden corridors on a quest to save the beautiful Princess Hannah, you'll be confronted with hundreds of mirrored walls and archways that combine to create 288 potential twists and turns. Journey through chambers hexed by Ugly Hetty who means to keep you from unlocking the maze.

Zombie alert! The second lower-level attraction is Outbreak: Dread The Undead and it puts you right in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. You'll be challenged to stop a worldwide viral outbreak without being exposed yourself! Haunted and eerie, this attraction is a thrill a minute that will have you shrieking your way through several stops like the chemical testing facility and its ransacked lab, the morgue, and a rotting basement.

Hollywood excitement. Amazing special effects. It's all at the Hollywood Wax Museum and exclusively at Broadway at the Beach.
