Do you enjoy great illusions, performed with all the razzle dazzle of beautiful costumes, sensational sets and awesome special effects? Are you a fan of high-octane danger acts with lives in the balance? Do you get thrills witnessing feats of strength that hold the promise of both amazing and stunning you?

A new show in Myrtle Beach this season delivers all that and more. Christian Stoinev, a fifth generation circus performer and extreme hand balancer, will be wowing audiences with impressive feats of strength. His act includes his tiny dog, Scooby, who balances on and walks on Christian as, high in the air, Christian precariously balances them both on his hands. AGT alumni the King BMX Team will also be bringing their danger-filled high-octane stunt act to Myrtle Beach. The acrobatic team, which does extreme stunts with bikes, skates and skateboards, while flying around high-speed ramps, delivered chills and thrills to the AGT audience and later at NBA and NFL half-time shows.

You can enjoy all this action in one big show, the 2015 Carnival of Magic at The Palace Theatre at Broadway at the Beach. Earth Day Arrives March 20 And So Does Spring

Do you celebrate Earth Day March 20 or April 22? Did you even know that Earth Day is actually recognized twice each year?

The April 22 Earth Day first occurred in 1970. It launched a political movement that eventually motivated Congress to pass the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act.

March 20 is the original (and our favorite) Earth Day because it's a celebration of the vernal equinox which marks our first day of Spring! This Earth Day was first conceived in 1969 to remind us to be stewards of the environment. The United Nations got around to proclaiming the day of the vernal equinox as International Earth Day in 1971.

Broadway at the Beach invites you to celebrate Earth Day on March 20 when it arrives with Spring!

Throughout the winter months, we've been sprucing up in anticipation of more guests arriving at Broadway at the Beach as the weather warms. We've also been thinking about ways to put you in a Springtime mood.

Of course, it's easy to get in touch with the beauty of our environment just by stopping by Broadway. Stroll around our 23-acre Lake Broadway enjoying the gentle breeze off the water. Stop to watch the fish in the lake eagerly await the food you drop. Lunch on a sunny deck overlooking the lake as colorful ducks skim along the surface of the water, enjoying the Spring weather.

Then head over to Ripley's Aquarium where you will discover exotic and beautiful sea creatures that inhabit our earth. Gliding along a 330 foot moving path through a clear tunnel, you'll be just an arm's length from the different kinds of sharks and exotic fish swimming overhead. Be amazed by the display of bright colors sported by the underwater sea life in the Indo-Reef. Marvel at the sight of the Pacific Giant Octopus, living corals and jellies. Reach out and touch the rays in Friendship Flats.

Educational and fun, Broadway and Ripley's are great destinations for getting in touch with the creatures of our coastal area and beyond.

When Spring officially arrives this Friday, March 20 at 6:45 p.m., we'll be waiting for you!

Longer Days Arrive March 8. It’s Daylight Saving Time!

Can't wait for Spring and more hours of daylight? They're right around the corner.

After the winter that most of America has been enduring, the coming of Spring is a real cause for celebration.

The first sign of Spring is Daylight Saving Time. It arrives Sunday, March 8 when we move our clocks ahead. Suddenly, the sun that set around 6:15 p.m. each night is setting at 7:15 p.m., and we're reaping one more hour of daylight.

It's the most wonderful time of the year for those who love the outdoors! The days are not only longer, but growing warmer. There's more time to take a stroll around Lake Broadway. The outdoor decks at restaurants begin filling with diners lounging in the sun. And families come to take on the challenge of miniature golf on the mountain top at Dragon's Lair or the ropes course at Soar & Explore.

At Broadway at the Beach, we're already celebrating Spring. We expanded our hours, starting March 2, opening daily 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. thru May 21. During Easter Weekend (April 3-5), we'll keep our doors open even longer, until 10 p.m.

Come enjoy the longer days, the warm sun and all the fun of Broadway at the Beach in Spring.
