After the morning and mid-day fun, live entertainment can be enjoyed as The One Voice Project will bring a positive message and anti-bully awareness through music to the Heroes Harbor stage from 6pm-8pm. At the same time, you can hear bagpipes fill the air as the Conway Celtic Pipers stroll throughout Broadway.

Finally, when the sun sets on the Saturday before Easter, we'll light up the sky with a free Fireworks Extravaganza, sponsored by Helicopter Adventures. Join us and be thrilled by the exciting explosion of springtime colors over Lake Broadway at 8:30 p.m.!

We hope your Easter weekend is a great one and we hope you enjoy it with food, fun and fireworks at Broadway!

West Coast, East Coast, Gulf Coast: The Choice Is Yours At Broadway

From the California coast to the Carolina coast to everywhere in between, the memories of places you have been are often tied to the tasty cuisine you have enjoyed while there. Whether your travels have led you north, south, east or west, Broadway at the Beach is the center for every craving!

When you're looking for that west coast flare, you can always go a little extreme at Extreme Pizza. From their fresh salads, monster subs, cheesy calzone and signature pizzas, the creations from their kitchen are not only packed full of flavor, but they also offer a variety of gluten free options that will please your whole party!

Heading a little south of the border in terms of choice of cuisine and a little east of Extreme Pizza, Senor Frog's is a great destination for Mexican food with a twist! Whether lunch or dinner, the eatery and bar offers a side of fun with your favorite drinks and dining options including nachos, burritos, tacos, margaritas, daquiris and mojitos. When the sun sets, the restaurant is a hotspot for dancing and a great time!

If a little lower key is what you're looking for, the tastes of the Gulf Coast can be found at Landry's Seafood with low country creations of fried and grilled shrimp, a catch of the day, crab cakes, pasta dishes and desserts! The romantic atmosphere and excellent service of Landry's also serves as a great date night spot and for any special occasion. If crab legs are your seafood of choice, but you prefer a bib over ambiance, Joe's Crab Shack's steam pots features flavors from across the nation including The Orleans, Beantown Bake and Arctic Bay!

If you can't tell already, this blog is making us very hungry! So we'll continue…

A little south of the Gulf Coast and further down the way into Broadway, Key West Grill lives up to its namesake offering island infused dishes, drinks and desserts and while you're there, be sure to say hello to Kiwi!

A little further down from Key West Grill, the island life and leisure continues as you sip on something sweet and listen to the music of Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Whether you're in the mood for volcano nachos, Caribbean chicken egg rolls or a cheeseburger in paradise, it's always 5 o'clock somewhere and it's always delicious at Margaritaville!

We've been to the California coast, Gulf coast, Key West and the Caribbean without leaving Broadway, and there's one place we can't forget to mention that will bring us to the South Carolina coast, we're talking about the undeniable deliciousness of Sweet Carolina's. From fall off the bone baby back ribs, brisket and smoked chicken to the South Carolina necessities of homemade corn bread and fried green tomatoes, Sweet Carolina's Smokehouse is a true southern spot that will have you coming back for more!

Our list of favorites can go on at Broadway, including the all-american selections of Johnny Rockets and Good Time Charley's and the craft brews of American Tap House and the Liberty Brewery & Grill to the international flavors of Yamatos Steak House and King Kong Sushi, but for now, we'll let you choose the coastal cuisine of your choice at Broadway at the Beach!

The Great Indoors of Broadway at the Beach

We've all heard the saying; April showers bring May flowers. Sure, the saying helps us to see the brighter results of those rainy days, but it's safe to say, most of us still get a little bummed out as the rain clouds roll in and our plans of sitting in a beach chair along the Myrtle Beach shore are washed away.

However, when Mother Nature isn't cooperating with our planned beach days, there's no reason to stay walled up at home or in your hotel room as Broadway at the Beach offers several indoor attractions where you can explore the depths of the ocean or go beyond the limits of earth!

At Ripley's Aquarium, experience the Sea-for-Yourself Discovery Center, an interactive, multimedia playground for visitors of all ages as well as explore the creatures of the dangerous reef and the 750,000-gallon shark tank! But it's not all about the sharks; you can even pet stingrays, be eye to eye with sea turtles and watch as mermaids perform live!

When passing storms put a damper on your afternoon by the shore, there's another option for indoor adventures at Broadway. From a 360 degree, virtual roller coaster, to lying on a bed of 3,500 nails to maneuvering the controls of a NASA spacecraft to standing up against hurricane force winds, WonderWorks has it all and then some!

You can also escape Mother Nature all together with a group of friends at Backstage Escape Games or navigate your way through the 2,000 square feet Backstage Mirror Maze! And for some of us less than active folks, you can always stay dry as you watch the latest flicks at the Big D Theatre and Carmike Cinemas Broadway 17!

So in the midst of sprinklings and showers, there's no reason to let Mother Nature rain on your parade as you explore the great indoors of Broadway at the Beach!

Spring Forward Into Fashion, Food & Fun At Broadway

On Sunday, March 12th, it will happen. Whether we like it or not, it will happen. Whether we are ready for it or not, it will happen. It's the day when we lose an hour of sleep and the day we have an excuse for that third trip to Starbucks before noon. Okay, this is sounding negative, so let's try again.

On Sunday, March 12th, it will happen. It's the day the sun begins to shine a little longer. It's the day we unofficially say goodbye to the winter woes. It's the day we spring forward into a new season. It's daylight savings time!

Although the official beginning of Spring 2017 isn't until Monday, March 20th, we'll already be in the new season spirit after we cross daylight savings time off the calendar! And Broadway has a plethora of ways to help us get in the new spring swing of things! First up; shopping.

The annual chore of putting away the sweaters and coats and pulling out the sandals and sun dresses can be made more enjoyable when adding a few new stylish pieces from Denim Exchange and Bijuju and grabbing a new pair of designer shades from Sunglass Hut! Don't forget, a new ensemble isn't complete until you step into the season with a new pair of Crocs or by stopping by Rack Room Shoes to lace up a new pair of running shoes.

There's another way to let go of the winter blues at Broadway.

Grab a seat, sip on something sweet and take in the warmer season at one of our dining hotspots that feature outdoor seating! Whether you're on the patio of Liberty Brewery & Grill, on the deck of Johnny Rockets or Landry's Seafood, you're sure to find something to quench your thirst and to fill your belly. If you're up for a little people watching while enjoying something delicious, Hard Rock Café, Wahlburgers and American Tap House have a seat waiting for you!

The list of ways to enjoy the longer days of spring at Broadway can go on and on, from feeding the newest ducklings to taking in the newest blockbuster at the Big D Theatre to exploring the depths of the ocean at Ripley's Aquarium to voyaging to the unknown of space at WonderWorks, there are plenty of places to enjoy the season of new beginnings at Broadway!
