A warm weekend is forecast for Myrtle Beach with temperatures hovering around 70. Flowers are already bursting into bloom and streets lined with Bradford Pear and redbud trees are alive with color.

Broadway at the Beach is the perfect place to shake off the winter blues. Take a stroll around beautiful Lake Broadway and feed the fish from one of our bridges. Or relax and have a laugh with our resident ducks as they put on their own special show waddling and playing on the green grass along the lake shore.

Grab some lunch and let your inner joy over the warm weather burst out by joining the wait staff at Johnny Rocket's in a song. Rev up your taste buds with one of the true signs of summer — a big, juicy burger. Top off lunch with a cool lemonade or some hand turned fudge from The Fudgery.

When you're full of warm-weather treats, work off the calories by checking out the latest and greatest things we have for 2014 in our shops. Shoot for a hole-in-one at Dragon's Lair miniature golf, and then top off the day with a movie at our Carmike Cinema or a live show at Legends In Concert or The Palace.

We'll be looking for you this weekend. So, come get your fun on!

March Madness gets underway tonight and it's more exciting than ever before. There's that unprecedented chance to win $1 billion by picking the perfect bracket for the NCAA men's tournament.

And then there's the excitement surrounding our hometown team, Coastal Carolina University, as it joins the big dance for the first time since 1993.

There's no better place to watch all the madness of March basketball than on one of the many TVs at restaurants and bars throughout Broadway at the Beach. We've got places for every mood – from the excitement of sports bars like Broadway Louie's and Chuck & Duck's , to the laid-back atmosphere of tropical eateries like Margaritaville and Key West Grill, to awesome restaurants with great steaks, ribs and BBQ like Liberty Steakhouse & Brewery and Good Time Charley's.

Ready to bid farewell to winter, 2014? Lake Broadway's ducks are already enjoying our warm weather. So why not start your celebration of spring with some St. Patrick's Day fun at Broadway at the Beach?

Get the St. Patrick's Day weekend started on Saturday, March 15 at Tilted Kilt where you can enjoy live bands and bagpipers throughout the day. Sunday, the whole family can participate in the St. Patty's Day 5K or family fun run around Broadway on the Beach. Then enjoy an Irish-themed breakfast buffet at Tilted Kilt and music all day long. You may even see a leprechaun or two.

Throughout the weekend, Wet Willies will have drink specials, and on Monday, there will be all-day specials at Margaritaville, Tilted Kilt and Liberty Steakhouse & Brewery where the Tru Sol band will be live from 6 to 9 p.m.

And, as the Irish blessing goes:

Next to spring, fall is the perfect season for festivals and events, and Broadway at the Beach is home to several festivals and events during the month of October that you won't want to miss!

On Saturday, October 5th, Broadway at the Beach celebrates the 3rd Annual Fall Crawl featuring two car shows, including the Grand Strand Mustang Stampede & Classic Ford Show from 9am to 4pm and the Return to the Beach 14 PT Cruiser Show from 9am to 3pm. In addition, there will be sidewalk sales at various Broadway at the Beach merchants throughout the day, a kid's activity area from 11am to 5pm near center court with food samples and kid's activities, plus entertainment and fireworks at 8pm over Lake Broadway.

Friday, October 11th thru Sunday, October 13th, the Sons of Italy will bring their "Festa Italiana" to Broadway at the Beach! This annual fall festival is sure to have everyone feeling just a little bit Italian, with a wide variety of vendors, including food, souvenir, specialty gifts and a whole lot more! Friday, October 11th, 5pm to 9pm, Saturday, October 12th, 10am to 8pm and Sunday, October 13th, 12pm to 6pm.

If you love car shows, then you definitely need to save the date for the Cruisin' the Beach open car show taking place Thursday, October 17th thru Saturday, October 19th. This show will feature something for everyone including cars, trucks, motorcycles, ratrods, street rods and muscle cars. Show will take place all three days from 8am to 6pm.

Saturday, October 26th promises to be a day or night of monsters when Celebrity Square presents the largest adult costume contest in South Carolina, the Celebrity Square of Terror Adult Halloween Costume Contest & Party. Party in the Square starts at 7:30pm with the contest later in the evening, where prizes will be award to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place contestants.

Sunday, October 27th we are still celebrating Halloween with our furry friends from the Grand Strand Humane Society. The annual Walk for the Animals is a fun-filled day kicking off around 9am with registration, featuring pet contests, games, vendors, food and much, much more! All proceeds from the walk benefit the Grand Strand Humane Society.

And finally, no October would be complete without Trick or Treating for the little ghosts and goblins. From 4:30pm to 6:30pm participating merchants will be anxiously awaiting with little surprises for all those in costume who say Trick or Treat!

Coming November 9th to Broadway at the Beach is The Color Run™ 5K.

The Color Run™, known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race celebrating health, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.

This five-kilometer, un-timed race features participants being doused in different colors at each kilometer with the fun continuing at the finish line with a gigantic "Finish Festival" using more colored powder to create happiness, lasting memories and millions of vivid color combinations. Participants are asked to follow two very simple rules, wear white at the starting line and finish drenched in color.
